Business continuity is vital to companies, and HHG will construct procedures which will enable clients to recover from such disasters in the shortest time scale.
Disasters can be minimised by service providers planning proactively. We produce documented procedures and carry out periodic reviews to keep the disaster recovery plan up to date and provide a mechanism of recovery.
Correct planning of server specifications will acheive a high level of redundancy, so that any disasters, that may occur, are unlikely to be caused by faulty hardware, but rather by external influences such as fire or theft. It is important therefore, to make sure that the disaster recovery plan accomodates this to ensure that all angles are covered.
Many recovery plans only provide for the recovery of data. Our plans not only include data but also, if they are used, the recovery of Exchange Server and Active Directory, this acheives a complete recovery rather than a partial one.
